The Connector Subsea Distribution team have successfully qualified our soft seated ball valves to -29°C (previously -18°C).
In January 2022, the Subsea Distribution division of Norway-based engineering company Connector Subsea Solutions developed the world’s first compact soft seated 2-inch ball valve rated at 1,035 bar (15,000psi). This product is fully qualified to API 6A PR2F and API 17D, with manufacturing and testing as per API PSL3G.
In an effort to align our valve portfolio with the recently acquired Norvalves portfolio and to meet the market requirements for low temperature operation, Connector Subsea Distribution have successfully qualified our soft seated valves to -29°C (previously -18°C).
The broad temperature range of -29°C to +121°C allows the same valve to be installed in several applications.
